Good find, I forgot about that penstemon. I had some similarly pale blue / purple, primo P. amphorellae at a job down here for a couple years, before the owner or their maintenance company did them in.
Cranky? Typical Santa Fe, plus some uppity. But I would have bought more of that plant, anyway! (no odd numbers for me)
